Contact
The address, the telephone, the email and the languages. There is no form on this page, and there is a reason for that further down.
The building is on 61st Street, six minutes on foot from the station, with the covered porch on the side and the parking behind.

000-000-0000 — answered at every hour of every day, including the middle of the night and including holidays.
funeralhome@bestdealwebdesign.com — read during office hours only, so it is the wrong door if somebody has just died.
Five languages between the six of us. Where a family needs one none of us has, we say so at the first call rather than muddling through it.

Those are the hours the office is open, not the hours somebody answers. The telephone is answered at every hour of every day of the year, including the middle of the night and including holidays, because that is when most of these calls are made.
Somebody who has just had a death does not want a form and a reply in two working days; they want a person, so the answer on this page is a telephone number.
That is the whole argument and it applies at three in the morning more than at any other hour. A form is a good answer to a question that can wait. Almost nothing anybody would write into one on this page can wait, and the ones that can — a question about pre-planning, a request for a copy of something, a general enquiry that is nobody's emergency — are better served by an email address that is read by a person than by a box that says thank you and disappears.
So there are two doors here and they are for different weeks. The telephone, at any hour, for the first one. The email address, during office hours, for everything that is not urgent. Nothing on this site collects your details, asks you to register, or requires an account before it will tell you something.
It is shorter than people expect. Somebody picks up and gives you their name. They ask who has died, where that person is now, and who you are to them, and that is most of it. Nothing is decided on that call, nothing said on it commits you to this funeral home, and you may change your mind about all of it in the morning.
If you are ringing at three in the morning from a hospital corridor, the call can be ninety seconds long and we will ring you back in daylight. If you are ringing about something that is nobody's emergency — a question about writing your own wishes down, a copy of a document from years ago — say so at the start and it is dealt with in the same call rather than triaged.
The short version. The long version, including the stairs at the station and the two wide bays beside the porch, is on its own page.
Six minutes from the 61st Street - Woodside station, which has the elevated line and the commuter railroad in one building. There are stairs on both sides and no lift.
The Roosevelt Avenue route stops two blocks north. The 61st Street route stops at the corner.
Parking for eleven cars behind the building, two of them wide bays beside the covered porch. Street parking on the side streets is free after six.
About twenty-five minutes on the railroad from Penn Station, or forty on the elevated line.
Twenty minutes from the nearer airport and about forty-five from the further one, without traffic.
If you are coming for the arrangement meeting rather than for a service, there is nothing to bring beyond what was asked for on the telephone and no reason to arrive early. If you would rather we came to you, we will: that meeting happens at kitchen tables at least as often as it happens in this building, and over a video call when the family is spread across several of them.
Nobody is at the other end of this. This is a demonstration website. Woodside Memorial Funeral Home is not a real funeral home, nobody answers the telephone number on this site, and no arrangement made here reaches anybody. If someone has died and you need a funeral director, please call a real one in your area.
Ring before you do anything else, at whatever hour it is. Nothing has to be decided on that call, and nothing said on it is final.
